Brompton x Everesting

Your everyday challenge.
8,848m. Or just your commute. Either way, it counts.

What is Everesting?

Everesting is an endurance cycling challenge during which a rider repeatedly climbs the same hill until they accumulate 8,848 metres of elevation gain, the height of Mount Everest.

For Brompton, Everesting is about more than performance. It’s about movement, resilience, and discovering how far a ride can take you, whether that’s across a city, up a mountain, or simply taking the long way home.

Join us throughout September and take on a full (8,848m), half (4,424m) or quarter (2,212m) Everesting challenge.

When everyday riding goes further

Maria Salvo and Esther Piquer decided to push their everyday riding beyond the usual.

They rode the climb out of Montjuic, Barcelona, until they collectively reached 8,848m. This film follows the ups and downs of the challenge.

The stats

29 circuit laps
157.5 km ridden
4,444 m of cumulative climbing each
9h 49m in motion

Not perfect.
Not easy.
Just consistent.

Why P Line?

P Line flows into the rhythm of the day. Hand built from materials that are as beautiful as they are durable – it’s confident and agile on city streets. A joy to ride. And when you fold, it comes into a different life. Smoothly transforming into a lightweight package that glides like a small suitcase and can be lifted and stored in seconds.

Stronger up front, lighter overall

The new, wider aluminium handlebars and tube give you greater control and confidence when cornering and accelerating. Not only is it smoother and stronger to ride, but lighter to lift and carry when folded.

Carbon Fork

Smoother. Lighter. Sleeker. And vibration-damping too. The material takes the edge off city roads, absorbing buzz and bumps before they reach your hands, meaning a more comfortable ride every time.

Lightweight power

The new aluminium crank set with shorter 160 mm arms delivers smoother, more efficient pedalling, so every stroke feels more powerful. A 54T narrow-wide chainring reduces chain movement, meaning your chain stays securely in place even on the bumpiest roads.

Brompton Ergonomic grips

Dawn-to-dusk rides or quick errands, the ergo grips give standout comfort. All the right cushioning and support, exactly where you need it. Designed by Brompton, for Brompton.
