All Brompton bicycle frames have a 7 year warranty when registered. The electrical components on the Brompton Electric are covered by a 2 year warranty, on Brompton Electric C Line and Electric P Line models this can be extended to 3 years when registered. All other non-wearing components have a 2 year warranty.

Many issues are easily resolvable within the comfort of your own home meaning that you can be back on the road again with minimal downtime.

If you find that your Brompton Electric is not providing the assistance which it should, we recommend performing the simple checks in this video.
Visit your local Brompton Service Centre
If you are unable to resolve the issue at home, it is also possible to visit your local Brompton Junction or Brompton Service Centre to access servicing and warranty assistance.
All of our Brompton Junction stores receive the highest level of training and have mechanics available to help you with any servicing, maintenance or warranty request you may have.
All of our Brompton Service Centres have access to the required knowledge and tooling to repair any mechanical Brompton.
Please note that only specific Brompton Electric Service Centres have access to the Diagnostic Tooling and Electrical components required to repair Brompton Electric products.

All new Brompton bicycles registered in the My Brompton section of our website are covered by a 7-year unlimited mileage warranty against manufacturing and material defects for the main frame components, commencing from the date of sale.
Other non-wearing parts on the bicycle (e.g. crank arms, brake calipers, mudguards, etc.) and other parts and accessories are covered by a 2-year warranty against manufacturing and material defects. All Electric parts on the Electric P Line and Electric C Line are covered by a 2-year warranty. 3 years if you register your bike.
Please ensure that you keep your sales invoice in a safe place for future reference.
Bicycles not registered in the My Brompton section of our website are subject to a 2-year warranty on the mainframe components, commencing from the date of sale.
Certain components are intended to wear and are therefore not covered under warranty. These include brake pads, gear and brake cables, pivot bushes and bearing surfaces, seat sleeve, seat post, tyres, and drivetrain components.
Depending on usage, we recommend a minimum of 1 service per year, after the recommended 100-mile service. For commuters or regular riders, we recommend regular inspection and servicing of your bike by your authorised Brompton retailer.

If you are concerned about the wear on a component, or if it has stopped working or even has broken, please contact an authorised Brompton dealer so they can inspect the bicycles to assess for you if a warranty request is justified.
The dealer will need to see you are the owner of the bicycle, that it is still within the warranty period and that it has been used within the operational expectations for the bicycle.
The warranty will commence once the bike has been delivered.

Please note: This service is only available for specific warranty cases within Mainland UK at present.
If you are unable to visit a local Brompton Junction or Brompton Service Centre we can often arrange for your Brompton to be collected from you.
We are unable to perform a collection from any address outside of Mainland UK or for any paid for servicing requests.
If you have an issue with your Brompton which you feel should be covered under warranty, we are happy to collect your bike and inspect it on your behalf.
1. If you do not have the official Brompton Box and Packaging, we can send this to you.
2. We will then ask that you package your Brompton safely before requesting a collection from your home or place of work.
3. Once received, we will inspect your Brompton, communicate with you and perform any agreed servicing work before returning your Brompton to you.
4. Once returned, you will be able to unpack your Brompton and continue riding.

Bicycles can be registered by using the 10-digit serial number, which is your unique bike identifier. Information on how to locate the serial number can be found on the serial number plate
To register Electric models, the battery serial number is also required and can be located on a white sticker on the reverse of the battery.
